Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and ARMR. when you use the app. Please read them; by creating an account or using ARMR. you agree to them.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. About ARMR.

ARMR. is a fitness app for training programmes, workout tracking, daily scores, food logging and training with friends. It is available on the web at armr.app/app and will also be available as iOS and Android apps. The service is operated from the United Kingdom and you can contact us at support@armr.app.

ARMR. is free to use. There are no payments, subscriptions or adverts.

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy policy.

2. Who can use ARMR.

You must be 16 or older to create an account or use ARMR. By using it, you confirm that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will delete it.

3. Your account and security

  • Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your email address up to date so you can receive account emails such as password resets.
  • Keep your password secret and use one you do not use anywhere else.
  • You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password and tell us at support@armr.app.
  • One person per account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
  • Your username must not impersonate anyone or break the community rules below.

4. Community rules

ARMR. has public chat boards, comments, direct messages and shared workouts. To keep it a good place to train, you must not post, send or do anything that:

  • harasses, bullies, intimidates or targets another person;
  • promotes hate or attacks people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any similar characteristic;
  • is sexual or sexually explicit, including nudity;
  • threatens violence or encourages self-harm or harm to others;
  • is spam, including repetitive messages, unsolicited promotion, scams or misleading links;
  • impersonates another person, brand or the ARMR. team;
  • is illegal, or promotes or helps with illegal activity;
  • shares someone else’s private information (such as their address, phone number, photos or messages) without their permission;
  • infringes someone else’s copyright or other rights;
  • tries to get around a block, a private account or a suspension, for example by making a new account;
  • interferes with the service, including scraping, automated access, probing for weaknesses, or overloading our systems.

Respect private accounts. If someone keeps their account private or shares a workout with Friends or Only me, do not copy or reshare it to a wider audience.

If you see something that breaks these rules, please report it. See Support for how.

5. Your content

“Your content” means anything you add to ARMR., such as your profile, photos, workouts, comments, board posts and messages.

  • You keep ownership of your content.
  • You give ARMR. a licence to store, host, copy, process and display your content, but only as needed to run the service and show it to the audiences you choose (for example, a workout set to Friends is shown only to your friends). This licence is free of charge, worldwide and non-exclusive, and it ends when your content or your account is deleted, apart from the limited backup and moderation copies described in our Privacy policy.
  • You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to share it.

6. Moderation and enforcement

You can report users, workouts, comments, messages and board posts, and block other users. Reports are reviewed by the ARMR. team, and we aim to review them within 24 hours.

If we believe something breaks these terms or puts people at risk, we may:

  • remove or hide the content;
  • temporarily suspend the account; or
  • permanently close the account.

We will act proportionately and, where it is safe and practical, tell you what we have done and why. If you think we have made a mistake, email support@armr.app and we will take another look.

7. Health disclaimer

ARMR. does not give medical advice. Scores, intensity, recovery estimates, calories, programmes and exercise guides are general information to help you train. They are estimates and may not be accurate for you.

  • Speak to a doctor or qualified professional before starting a new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have not exercised for a while.
  • The chronic pain and rehabilitation programmes are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment. Use them alongside advice from a doctor or physiotherapist.
  • Stop exercising straight away and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath or feel unwell.
  • Heart-rate readings depend on your sensor and are not suitable for medical use.

You take part in any exercise at your own risk, subject to section 10.

8. Third-party services

Some features rely on other services, such as Open Food Facts for barcode lookups, AI models for food photo estimates, and Bluetooth sensors you choose to connect. Food estimates and database entries can be wrong, so please check them. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party services.

9. No warranties

ARMR. is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running well, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or that data will never be lost. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms that are not set out in these terms.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by UK law:

  • we are not liable for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for any loss of data, business, profit or opportunity;
  • we are not liable for content posted by other users, or for any loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

If you use ARMR. as a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

11. Changes to the service and terms

ARMR. is growing, so we may add, change or remove features. We may also update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using ARMR. after the change, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using ARMR. and delete your account at any time. See Delete account for the steps and what is deleted.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop providing the service. If we stop providing ARMR. altogether, we will give you reasonable notice where we can.

Sections that by their nature should continue after your account ends (such as sections 7, 9, 10 and 13) will continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
